It is good to ask someone else, such as a pastor or friend, to pray for you. There are situations in our lives that take away our energy and joy and we need God’s help to guide us and lead us. He is the only One that promised to hear our prayers and to answer our prayers according to His will.
If you need prayer today, send me a text message and I will be praying for you. You can also Click Here to fill out the prayer request form.
In the meantime, here is a prayer you can pray yourself:
Our Father, who art in heaven, first I acknowledge that I have sinned against you. I have not loved you the way you desire for me to love you and I have not followed your commandments. And Lord I have not loved my neighbor the way You love me. Forgive me and renew me so that I can delight in your ways.
Holy Spirit, help me today! I go through dangers for which I do not feel prepared for, and I walk unknown paths, whose end I do not see clearly. Give me faith to walk with courage, Allow that, even if I don’t know the final outcome, I know that your hand guides me and that your love sustains me.
Jesus, I thank you for the sacrifice you have made for me – taking my place on the cross so that I would not die but have life in you. Help me to live a life that gives honor and glory to your name. Grant me strength to trust in your love and mercy and to overcome the struggles in my life.
I ask this in your name, Amen.
Now read Psalm 111:
I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, in the company of the upright, in the congregation.
Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them.
Full of splendor and majesty is his work, and his righteousness endures forever.
He has caused his wondrous works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and merciful.
He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.
He has shown his people the power of his works, in giving them the inheritance of the nations.
The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy; they are established forever and ever, to be performed with faithfulness and uprightness.
He sent redemption to his people; he has commanded his covenant forever. Holy and awesome is his name!
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!
Blessings on your day!
